This year, Brunswick Church will be holding weekly soup suppers throughout the season – with a new twist. Each Tuesday, starting March 3, we will gather in the Commons to share a simple meal of soup and bread. After we eat, we will work together on a simple service project to support local people or ministries. The soup supper and service project activities will run from 5:30 – 7 pm.

Lent is a 40-day solemn Christian season of preparation, fasting, and prayer that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends before Easter. It mimics Jesus Christ’s 40 days of fasting in the wilderness, serving as a time for repentance, reflection, and spiritual discipline to prepare for the celebration of Easter.
