Why, you ask, are we studying a book that was written 3,500 years ago? Doesn't that book pertain to a bunch of people who wandered in a desert somewhere? What does the Book of Deuteronomy have to do with me today? After all, we know where we're going, don't we?

Are you sure? The children of Israel thought they knew where they were going, but they found themselves rebelling against God and wandered in the wilderness for 40 years! The Book of Deuteronomy is a guide for Godly living. The truths of this book are eternal, just as God is eternal. They apply to all of us today, right where we are.

We find three great truths that help us understand the flow of the book, the truth about God, and how we are to respond to God. The symbols and explanations below will help us to remember these truths with one highlighted each week.
